Just the drill $17 or the drill & a light $20. So HFT had 2 of the driver drills on sale. I was hoping the old batteries would come down after the lithiums were established but no dice.Ĭheapest I could find was $40 for 1 Battery or $60 for 2, of the old style 18V batteries. Plus they are soo over priced even for the old type batteries. My Ryobi batteries are all dead and I have no idea IF the new Ryobi P104 One+ plus 18V Capacity Lithium Li-Ion Battery will fit in the older tool set. Shoulda never went into that store with a shopping cart The new store had a sale this weekend and I bought several things. The torque wrench I did get was fine, just don't know if it's what they carry now, or the item you mentioned on sale. I have gotten quite a bit from HF, and can't think of anything I wasn't satisfied with, except their battery chargers, which I would avoid. They aren't tool users or tool experts, so spec details aen't that important to them, and don't make effort to get it right. I'm guessing the HF corporate bean counters go the distrubutors, or manuf's and quick glance items, then make mistakes in recording specs, which Corp. IE net sez 3HP, and the mfrbox or manual inside states 2.5 HP. However, at Billings, if you have a smartphone or print-out of the net sale price, they will honor it.įairly often I find discrepancies in their written description, and what the mfr shows for specs on their box, or literature included. Plus, they don't even keep track of what the net site is doing, so sale price and TIME effective may vary. The stores (at least the Billings MT one) also have sales independent of what you see on the internet site. Last time I was at HF, it seemed to me that they've done some kind of "shift" in what they carry. I do have a HF 1/2" torque wrench that I got maybe 3 years ago. I was considering the 30 A one, and you post suggests it's the one that fits "our" fuse size, correct? The 20 fitting the Mini is somewhat logical, although the description doesn't actually fit the tool. Are you interested in the "quality" of the fuse tester(s), or the torque wrench, or both?
